Sewing Program Assistants

The New Rochelle Public Library received grant funding to purchase 10 Necchi Q132A sewing machines. As part of its sewing program, it is offering beginner classes to children, adults, and teens led by an experienced instructor.

The library is launching open sewing hours and volunteers are needed to assist patrons (no more than 3 to 4 per session) using the machines. Sessions would last about two hours and will be scheduled during regular library hours, based on volunteer availability.

Experienced sewers who would like to share their expertise should express interest below!
