Opportunity Details
Help protect the Rye Nature Center by cleaning up trash around the banks of the Blind Brook. Winter/early spring is the perfect season to spot trash that is accumulating after rainy events. With no poison ivy or stinging nettle to worry about, it is easy to reach each piece.
This project may involve bending over and carrying a trash bag. Friends of Rye Nature Center will supply all materials, including trash bags, pickers, and gloves, and it can provide letters of recognition to volunteers if needed. Express interest below!
