Opportunity Details
Volunteers are needed to help pack and distribute Thanksgiving groceries to Port Chester Carver Center's clients. Volunteers must be 16+ and be willing/able to pack and lift heavy grocery bags during these times.
The first volunteer shift (11 a.m.-3 p.m.) will pack the bags and the second shift (3:30-7 p.m.) will distribute the bags to clients. Volunteers can sign up for one or both shifts. All work will be performed outside the building under a tent, so volunteers should dress appropriately in warm, comfortable clothing. The Carver Center will provide coffee and snacks—sign up below!
