2023 Volunteers for Adult ESL Classes

The City School District of New Rochelle is hosting adult ESL classes to support its parent and guardians who would like to learn English. Volunteers are needed to assist with small group classes for adult beginner and intermediate English speakers in New Rochelle. Classes will take place during school days between 10 a.m.-12 p.m. Basic knowledge on how to support English language conversation skill development would be ideal, but may not be necessary; volunteers must agree to a background check.

This is an in-person project and would be scheduled once or twice a week at a school site within the City School District of New Rochelle.
