Patient Experience Volunteers

White Plains Hospital is looking for Patient Experience Volunteers to help provide a welcoming environment and a listening ear when needed to inpatients and family members. Volunteers inform patients and their families of information, help connect to resources as appropriate, and act as a liaison with hospital staff.

Volunteer requirements:

• Prior work or volunteer experience in customer service
• Familiar with clinical healthcare settings
• Comfortable engaging in conversation with inpatients, conducting follow-up calls to patients and family members, and documenting interactions via iPad tablet
• Commitment of at least 8 months
