Gilda's Club Westchester is looking for a handy volunteer to assist with some light building maintenance and cleaning up outside the grounds on an as-needed basis. The schedule is very flexible and based on the volunteer's availability. This is the perfect opportunity for a retiree or individual with a passion for helping their community members whose lives have been affected by cancer. Express interest below!
Since 2001, Gilda’s Club Westchester has offered support for people whose lives have been touched by all types of cancer. It’s a warm, inviting place where everyone can come together to share their experiences. Free of charge and non-profit, Gilda’s Club Westchester offers emotional support, healthy lifestyle workshops and activities, and social events in a nonresidential, yet home-like setting. Its innovative programs are an essential complement to medical care.
