Opportunity Details
Stuff a stocking at home and deliver it to Lifting Up Westchester to help benefit families in need! This is a great DIY project for the entire family. Volunteers are asked to fill between 5-50 small (3-to-6-inch-tall) stockings with new trinkets and items such as individually wrapped candy, chocolate, Chapstick, a toy, and even small gift cards to local restaurants ($5 at Dunkin Donuts, for instance). Feel free to decorate the stockings with glitter glue or be creative in other ways. These little stockings will then be distributed to families in need to help spread a little cheer this holiday season.
