Home Fire Campaign Volunteers
Home fires claim seven lives every day, but having working smoke alarms can cut the risk of death by half. Volunteers can make a difference in their communities and save lives tragically lost due to home fires by joining the American Red Cross's Home Fire Campaign. Home Fire Campaign Volunteers help educate residents in vulnerable neighborhoods about the importance of installing smoke alarms as well as provide home-safety checklists and plans.
Time commitment:
- 8-hour shifts
- Minimum of 1 shift per month
- Weekdays and weekends available from 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
