Public Relations Coordinator

Travel Unity, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit focused on increasing diversity in the world of travel, is looking for a Public Relations Coordinator to support its overall operations.

Travel Unity's work consists of two main components: introducing individuals to travel for both personal and professional development and aligning the travel industry with best practices around diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). Volunteers of all backgrounds, abilities, and geographic locations are welcome, and all roles are entirely virtual/remote.

Responsibilities:

• Writing and distributing detailed press releases and fact sheets
• Discerning appropriate media outlets and journalists to send information to
• Analyzing the outcome of public relations campaigns and reporting the findings to management
• Maintaining an up-to-date press list of journalists, influencers, and other members of the media
