Opportunity Details
DOROT Westchester is looking for volunteers to assist with its 9/11 Day of Service Package Delivery, which brings hundreds of older adults and volunteers together to share warmth and companionship. Volunteers will pick up a thoughtful care package full of treats that they will then deliver to an older neighbor in Westchester County. To complete the experience, they will connect by phone with their senior buddy for a pleasant conversation (between 20-30 minutes). An orientation and training will be provided.
