Volunteers to Pack Flow Kits

914Cares is looking for volunteers to help pack flow kits for its Period Project. Each flow kit contains a month's worth of period supplies, including tampons, pads, and panty liners, that will then gifted to someone in need so they have a reliable supply of period products—and to ensure that no student misses school, no adult misses work, and no person misses out on daily life because they are unable to afford the period supplies they need.

914Cares is a member of both the Alliance for Period Supplies and the Period Movement, which allows it to purchase items in bulk at a significant discount. It also partners with ​Aunt Flow, which donates products that are 100% cotton, biodegradable, and contain no chemicals or dyes. Volunteers will help sort and assemble these Flow Kits. All volunteers must be fully vaccinated to participate. Express interest below!

914Cares provides resources to local organizations, educates the community about poverty, and encourages actionable generosity. It accomplishes this mission by distributing assistance packages and items to more than 80 local organizations that work directly in their respective communities so resources are distributed to the people who need them the most.
