TikTok Content Marketing Intern

Volunteer New York! is looking for a TikTok Content Marketing Intern to help inspire volunteerism and connect to the community on a whole new level. Working with the Director of Communications, the intern will help support the planning and creation of TikTok videos over a 3-month internship.

Roles and responsibilities:

• Creating videos and uploading them to TikTok
• Coming up with ideas and researching trends to build an audience
• Coordinating with the Marketing Team regarding TikTok analytics, strategies, and goals
• Replying to comments, messages, etc.
• To consistently learn, grow, and ask pertinent questions
• Attending a weekly marketing meeting (virtually or sometimes in-person)

Knowledge, skills, and abilities:

• An understanding of TikTok (how to create/post videos and use captions/hashtags)
• Access to a mobile device to create and post TikToks
• Advanced grammar, spelling, and general communication skills
• Interest in nonprofit marketing and social media
• Interest in filmmaking/being a storyteller
• Interest in inspiring positive change
• Creativity and a vigorous work ethic
• A passion for helping others

Time commitment:

• Flexible schedule up to 2-3 hours a week
