Internship Program Manager

The Volunteer Internship Program Manager is responsible for the success of Travel Unity's intern program. This volunteer will ensure that all interns are assigned to a task, coordinate with partner schools/organizations that sends the interns, and maintain appropriate reporting. The Internship Program Manager will also onboard student interns and perform weekly check-ins. This volunteer role is entirely virtual.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the development of the Travel Unity internship program (5-10 interns ages 14-18)
• Manage internship program partners and outreach
• Manage interns' onboarding and oversee their day-to-day operations; manage any questions as needed
• Collaborate with department liaisons and mentors
• Assist in delegating tasks and meet with the interns at least once a week

Skills:

• Knowledge of Google Workspace and Google Classroom
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Working with youth/students

Time Commitment:

• At least 5-10 hours per week
