Opportunity Details
Volunteers are needed to assist the Putnam CAP Food Pantry Manager to pick up food donations from local grocery stores (including TOPS and ShopRite in Carmel, NY, and Trader Joe's in Danbury, CT) and transport them back to the food pantry in Brewster for sorting and stocking. Volunteers will be passengers in the Putnam CAP van and will not need to drive to stores in their own vehicles; however, they will need to present proof of their COVID-19 vaccination.
Volunteers are needed on Wednesday and Friday mornings from 8:30 a.m.-12 p.m. and they must be able to lift, bend, and carry up to 25 pounds. Express interest below!
