Deliver Wellness Meals to Homes in Rockland County

Meals on Wheels has been improving the quality of life for aging Rockland County residents for more than four decades. Its Home Delivered Meals program provides fresh, nutritious food designed to cater to the dietary needs of older adults. Caring volunteers deliver more than just a meal—their daily visits provide a vital safety check and friendly conversation that reduces loneliness and isolation.

Volunteers are needed to help deliver nutritious meals to the homes of senior citizens throughout Rockland County who are unable to cook or shop for themselves. Meals on Wheels does its best to assign routes that are close to volunteers' homes.

Volunteers MUST have their own transportation and a valid drivers' license. Volunteers who make an ongoing commitment are eligible to receive reimbursement for gas expenses. This is a great opportunity for families and corporate or community groups!

This project requires volunteers to complete an application form. To volunteer:
