The Child Care Council of Westchester's mission is to maximize every child's potential from birth through high quality early care and education, as well as to help better inform and educate their parents.

The Council is seeking board members for a term of three years to help support and develop this mission. The board meets once a month. Board members will:

  • Provide overall direction to the Council's efforts and resources
  • Act as an ambassador for the Council to spread its message and expand its connections
  • Help secure financial and other resources to support its programs
  • Share your special talents to deepen the organization's capacity and effectiveness
  • Work as part of a team with others who care about children, families, and their future
