Soap Donation Project

Our neighbors who are serving time in prison are often overlooked. However, these community members still deserve to be cared for and kept safe. Interfaith Prison Partnership is looking for volunteers to collect sealed, alcohol-free, regular-sized bars of soap (no hotel size please) for individuals in prison. New York State issues a lye-based soap that can be very harsh on the skin, especially with the frequent hand washing protocols required during COVID-19.

Acceptable brands include (but are not limited to):

  • Ivory
  • Irish Spring
  • Dove
  • Dial
  • Cetaphil
  • Lever
  • Olay
