Opportunity Details
In September and October, Yonkers Partners in Education (YPIE) will be hosting SAT prep on Saturday mornings at its after-school space (called the College Zone) in preparation for the October 16 in-school SAT that all Yonkers Public School students take. Volunteers are needed on-site during those sessions.
Students are given practice SAT sections and they work through them independently and then in small groups. Volunteers assist whenever the small groups are stumped on a particular problem. Volunteers must be a senior in high school or older.
Sessions run from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. Sign up for any or all available shifts:
