Plant Flowers in Honor of 9/11

Join us as we remember the unity and compassion that was shared by the many first-responders, blood donors, and volunteers who came together after the tragic attacks on September 11, 2001. Help us shine our light on the service, empathy and unity that carries us forward 18 years later. We encourage families, individuals and groups to join us in honoring the memory of those lost through this service project at Tibbetts Brook Park in Yonkers. Volunteers will participate in a park clean up as well as planting flowers in honor of 9/11. Be sure to bring a reusable water bottle. Wear closed-toe shoes and clothes that can get dirty!Volunteers will park in the main parking lot on the right hand side. We will meet at the flag pole in front of the main building. Volunteers must be at least 18 years old or 8 years old with an adult to participate in this event. This project is a part of 9/11: Serve + Remember.
