High School Equivalency/GED Teachers
Volunteer instructors are needed to teach a basic skills course for young adults between the ages of 17 and 25. This program is designed to help them successfully obtain a High School Equivalency or GED, which then leads them to enter post-secondary or advanced training programs or obtain full-time employment.
Classes run from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Monday through Thursday; volunteer instructors can teach up to four days a week for the length of the fall (September to December) or spring semester (January to June).
