Come join us for Campus Cares!
Campus Cares involves youth and staff from the Hawthorne Campus of The Jewish Board, coming together with volunteers from the community to work on a community service project or initiative. Campus Cares meets on the second Thursday of each month from 5-6:30 p.m. at the Sally & Anthony Mann Center, The Jewish Board, Hawthorne Campus.
Come participate in a collaborative volunteer service project while learning more about the Hawthorne Campus programs and community. This is a great opportunity for individual volunteers or groups (youth under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.)
Past projects include: Planting/beautification, Community clean-ups, Creating cards for deployed soldiers in honor of September 11th Day of Observance, Creating holiday cards and decorations for local seniors, Making sandwiches and meal bags for the Midnight Run, Collections for hurricane victims, Holiday gift collections for children, Collections and making handmade dog toys for local animal shelters, and more…
Campus Cares is always open to new service project ideas!
