Don't Judge a Book By Its Cover is a fun way to encourage young readers to think about the types of books they are interested in reading rather than simply looking at the cover of the book when making a selection. These books are offered to clients, and youth checking in at My Sister's Place shelter. Volunteers will select books from our supplies and then gift wrap the book and then write some interesting clues about the book on the outside of wrapping so that the children we serve can make a selection based on these clues. Volunteers will use gift wrap, stickers and markers to create an inviting description of each book.
