Domestic Violence/Sexual Assault Program & Enough is Enough Program
Our program provides services such as a crisis intervention hotline, advocacy, support and education to members of the Latino community affected by domestic violence and sexual assault. Volunteer responsibilities include: covering shifts on the hotline, accompaniment to court, medical appointments or other services as needed, providing information and referrals to clients; provide safety planning for victims, participating in community education and outreach activities. Work under the supervision of the Program Coordinator to assist clients. This is a good opportunity for those who are sensitive to and passionate about issues of domestic violence and sexual assault. Requirements for this volunteer opportunity: - Proficiency in Spanish and English - A minimum time comittment of four (4) hours per week #IG002
