Donate Books for Young Children
Book drive for new and gently used board books and children's picture books. Can be dropped off during the week at Open Door centers or at the county center on 9/9. Books are used 2 ways: the doctors and providers use new developmentally appropriate books to give to preschooler children during well visits and literacy volunteers use gently used books in the waiting rooms as teaching tools to model reading with children. This project is a part of 9/11: Serve + Remember. *This is a family-friendly project for children 3 and over with an adult. If you are interested in signing up as a family, please choose Sign up with a team. Thanks!
