Groups of Volunteers needed
SPEND YOUR DAY HELPING CHILDREN IN NEED:
SORT AND PACK CHILDRENS’ CLOTHING
AT WJCS PASS IT ON KIDS’KLOSET
-Looking for groups of adults for a 2+ hour minimum visit.
-Groups can range in size from 5 – 15 people.
-All groups must be pre-booked by appointment and pre-screened by the Director of KK Stephanie Roth
-Groups will received an initial tour of our facility, introduction and directions.
- ‘Expert volunteers’ from KK will supervise activities such as sorting children’s clothing and packing a week’s worth of clothing for a child in need.
-You may possibly interact with Social Workers who come in to KK to pick up bags and/or pack for their clients.
-Duties include light lifting, a flight of steps to enter building, abilities to read clothing size labels and to be able to determine which bin to add the garment to.
-Great for corporate groups filling their philanthropic requirements.
-Located in convenient downtown White Plains.
