Public-Private Alliance Foundation

The Public Private Alliance Foundation (PPAF) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that works internationally but has its office in Hastings-on-Hudson, New York. PPAF innovates and collaborates to promote solar cooking.  Most families in Haiti endure a poverty-respiratory disease-deforestation trap of dependence on charcoal or wood for daily cooking. PPAF, with its Haitian and US-based colleagues, aims to reduce this dependency by introducing and monitoring cookstoves powered by the sun.
