2025 Rocky's 5K
Rocky's 5K is a fun, family-friendly event that raises money for the carriage roads of Rockefeller State Park Preserve. Friendly, enthusiastic volunteers are needed to serve in a variety of roles to help make the event a success.
Volunteer roles:
- Parking Guides (7-9 a.m.): direct cars where to park in an orderly fashion
- Registration (7-9 a.m.): check-in runners and distribute T-shirts and bibs
- Course Marshals (8-10:30 a.m.): cheer on and guide runners along the course route. Course marshals must be able to walk to their post and stand for the duration of the race
- Water Station (8-10:30 a.m.): distribute refreshments to runners
Express interest in a shift below to receive more information. Volunteers should wear clothing appropriate for the weather and temperature, and volunteers under 16 must be registered as part of an adult volunteer's team. This is a perfect opportunity for friends and families, scout groups, high schoolers, and individuals.
