2025 Head Start Professional Development Days - Port Chester
Family Services of Westchester's Port Chester Head Start Center staff members seek assistance with their upcoming professional development event. Volunteers are needed throughout the event for various activities.
- Place the tables/chairs
- Wipe down the chairs
- Clean-up
- Prepare the classrooms
- Set up chairs in the gym (first thing)
- Put chairs away (following keynote speaker)
- Set up chairs upstairs for meeting
- Put chairs away following meeting

Founded in 1954, Family Services of Westchester (FSW) is a private, nonprofit, non-sectarian social services agency that provides mental health and social services to strengthen and support families, children, and individuals at every stage of their lives. FSW's Head Start/Early Head Start is a federal government program that was created in 1965 to give preschool children from low-income families a "head start" on their readiness for elementary school.
