Volunteer Driver Coordinators
New Rochelle Cares is seeking a dependable volunteer to assist in administering the transportation services it provide for the seniors in its community. The Volunteer Driver Coordinator plays a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for older adults by ensuring they have safe and dependable transportation to essential appointments, social activities, and errands within lower Westchester County.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruit volunteer drivers
- Maintain data on Assisted Rides software platform to correctly track all ride information
- Ensure volunteers' license, registration, and insurance information is current
- Organize volunteer driver events/meetings
- Document mileage driven annually for each volunteer driver
Qualifications:
- Basic internet and computer skills
- Attention to detail
- Willingness to be a volunteer driver a plus!
