Access Nature Project at D.I.G. Farm

The Access Nature Project, an initiative of D.I.G. Farm, provides nature opportunities for people with disabilities and families of limited means. This initiative primarily works with adults on the spectrum, adults recovering from mental illness, and recent immigrant families.

Volunteer activities may include assisting naturalists and staff with guided hikes, farm chores, art projects, and picnic lunches. No experience is necessary, but volunteers should have kind, patient attitudes and a love for nature. Please wear weather-appropriate clothing and bring a reusable water bottle. Express interest below!

Being in nature provides many benefits and significantly increases well being. The Access Nature Project believes that all people deserve to access to those benefits. The program creates nature outings for those in need and helps them build a lifetime tool of wellbeing.
