2025 Girls on the Run Summer 5K

During the annual Girls on the Run Summer 5K, hundreds of girls from across the region come together to achieve their goals—and volunteers are needed to help them shine.

Volunteers can provide support with the following roles:

• Course Support: cheer on and encourage participants at various locations along the race route as they walk/run their 5K! Cowbells and pom-poms provided.
• Finish Line Support: stationed at the end of the race, these volunteers will cheer on the finishers, offer a high-five, and/or provide replenishment after participants cross the finish line.
• Hydration Station: hand out water at the halfway point on the course to keep participants hydrated and happy.
• Registration: distribute race bibs and event T-shirts to pre-registered runners.
• Photographer: share your talent and capture the joy at photo booths, start/finish lines, and along the course.

Groups are welcome and all volunteers will receive a Girls on the Run T-shirt.
