Volunteer Coordinator
Environmental Leaders of Color (ELOC) is seeking a Volunteer Coordinator who is passionate about the environment and community engagement to help expand its impact. The Volunteer Coordinator will recruit, train, and manage volunteers. This role is key to supporting ELOC's programs and outreach efforts.
Responsibilities:
- Recruit and onboard volunteers
- Develop and lead training sessions
- Manage volunteer schedules and assignments
- Maintain regular communication and provide support
- Organize volunteer appreciation efforts
- Keep accurate volunteer records
Qualifications:
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage time and multitask
- Passion for environmental work
- Experience in volunteer management is a plus
- Able to work independently and with a team
