2024 Community Read Aloud for Kids
Volunteers who enjoy reading and helping children are needed for a Community Read Aloud event for children ages 5 to 12. Each Reader will be assigned to a group of children and will read an age-appropriate book about this year's theme: "Self Love." After the reading, the volunteers will facilitate a Q&A to help the children better understand the meaning of self love and identify effective ways to practice self love every day.
Volunteer Readers should be compassionate, articulate, energetic, animated, and able to project their voices well. Readers will also assist with a book raffle and backpack and school supplies giveaways; volunteers will hand out backpacks and goody bags at the end of the program. Lunch will be provided for all volunteers and bilingual (Spanish/English) Readers are encouraged. Express interest below!
