MorDance, a thriving professional ballet company, is seeking a dynamic and creative Public Relations Volunteer to help elevate its presence in the community and build a robust audience after its recent relocation to Yonkers from New York City.

Role Description: The Public Relations Volunteer will play a key role in enhancing MorDance's visibility and promoting its upcoming performances, events, and initiatives. This exciting opportunity involves:

• Crafting compelling press releases, announcements, and promotional materials
• Building and maintaining relationships with local media outlets and influencers
• Collaborating with the MorDance team to develop strategic PR campaigns

Skills and Qualifications:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Creative thinking and a passion for storytelling
• Previous PR or communications experience is a plus but not required
• Enthusiasm for the arts and a commitment to supporting MorDance's mission
