Fundraising Volunteer
A Fundraising Volunteer is needed to assist with identifying and securing financial support for the Hudson River Audubon Society's Butterfly and Hummingbird Garden. Founded in 1995, the Butterfly and Hummingbird Garden has a variety of expenses—from tools to help with planting, weeding, watering, and pruning—as well as the cost of new plants and occasionally hired help for projects that require professionals. The Fundraising Volunteer will find donation sources to help fund these improvement and maintenance projects.
The Fundraising Volunteer will work on his or her own schedule. Experience in fundraising is required.
The Butterfly and Hummingbird Garden is located on the grounds of Lenoir Preserve in Yonkers, New York. It is a project of the Hudson River Audubon Society, a chapter of the National Audubon Society. Hudson River Audubon is a 501(c)3 corporation.
