2023 Giving Tuesday Donation Drive

Camp Morty is Westchester Parks Foundation's free summer camp for kids receiving temporary assistance through Westchester County's Department of Social Services. Westchester Parks Foundation is collecting essential items for its campers at Camp Morty—and it needs volunteers' help! These items will be packaged for campers as part of its Giving Tuesday volunteer event on Tuesday, November 28.

Items needed include:

Hygiene essentials (NEW ITEMS ONLY)

  • Bar Soap
  • Body wash
  • Shampoo (preferably for textured hair)
  • Conditioner (preferably for textured hair)
  • Tampons
  • Sanitary pads (liners, regular, overnight)
  • Toothpaste
  • Toothbrushes
  • Mouthwash
  • Hair bands
  • Body lotion
  • Baby powder/corn starch
  • Washcloths
  • Towels

Clothing essentials (NEW ITEMS ONLY)

  • Underwear (youth small to adult XL)
  • T-shirts (youth large to adult XL)
  • Shorts (youth large to adult XL; all genders)
  • Swim shorts (youth medium to adult XL)
  • Sports bras/training bras

Program essentials (NEW ITEMS ONLY)

  • Crayons
  • Markers
  • Construction paper
  • White glue
  • Glue sticks
  • Slime activator
  • Masking tape
  • Pipe cleaners and pom poms
  • Paint (tempera and acrylic)
  • Notebooks
  • Pens/pencils
  • Pencil sharpeners
  • Nightlights (battery operated)
  • Flashlights
  • Sensory tools (fidget spinners, Popits, weighted stuffed animals)
  • Any other items you want to donate that can enrich a young person's summer experience

This is a self-directed opportunity that volunteers can complete at home and deliver themselves:

  3. Drop off your NEW items, Monday through Friday between 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. until November 27 (excluding November 23 and November 24 due to the holiday):
