Family Service Society of Yonkers is looking for Homework Helpers to work with elementary-aged children at our after school programs in Yonkers. Timing is weekdays from about 3:15-4:20 p.m. If volunteers wish to also support enrichment activities, they can stay until 5:45 p.m. Volunteers may choose the day of the week they wish to come (except Fridays), and may come more than one day per week. Schedules will be arranged with site coordinators.
This is an ideal opportunity for students, retirees and seniors.
