Meal Delivery Drivers (Mondays)

Lifting Up Westchester (LUW) is seeking Volunteer Drivers who are able to provide transportation to pick up and deliver food in White Plains. Volunteer Drivers make only two stops—one at the pick-up location and one at the drop-off site (these are the same locations each week)—and each delivery takes only one hour. The volunteer will receive a notification via e-mail on a Saturday or Sunday prior to the Monday delivery.

Volunteer Driver Requirements:

• Must be available on intermittent Monday mornings for at least 4 or more months
• Must be flexible, on an as-needed basis (when there is prepared food being donated)
• Must be able to quickly respond to a weekend e-mail and ensure availability at 9 or 9:30 a.m. that Monday
• Must use own insured vehicle
• Must have a valid driver's license with no restrictions

The prepared food will provide much-needed nutritious meals at Lifting Up Westchester's weekday Community Kitchen. Express interest below!
