Help Harvest a Garden and Prep for the Fall (North Salem)

Volunteers will be harvesting and maintaining the garden working with compost and woodchips to revitalize a part of the field that could use some help. D.I.G. Farm is a nonprofit organization with a mission to reconnect people with our natural source of food: the farm. Volunteers must be at least 16 years old, or 5- 15 years old with an adult and signed Youth Waiver to participate in this event. Volunteers should dress for being outside and wear clothes that they don't mind getting dirty. Parking: Pull in the open driveway not the gated one and park on the grass along the fence. Look out for the signage to help. We ask that all volunteers who are 5 and older be vaccinated unless they have a compromised immune system. We are monitoring covid levels in the counties and will follow CDC guidelines for any masking requirements we might put in place. This project is a part of 9/11: Serve + Remember.
