Help Pack Arts and Craft Bundles for Children (Scarsdale)

Volunteers will help prepare arts and craft bundles for little ones in Westchester. Each month the Child Care Council of Westchester distributes a variety of supplies and resources to families in Westchester. In the summer months, we distributed sun safety materials such as children sunscreen, children sunglasses, sun hats, etc. and in August we distributed book bags with school supplies. For September, we plan to distribute arts and crafts supplies for young children. Arts and Crafts allows children to use their imagination, gives them a sense of achievement which builds confidence. Volunteers must be at least 16 years old to participate in this event. Parking: Drive to the top of the hill and park in the lot. Look out for the signage to help. We ask that all volunteers be fully vaccinated. We are monitoring covid levels in the counties and will follow CDC guidelines for any masking requirements we might put in place. This project is a part of 9/11: Serve + Remember.
