Habitat Restoration at Danner Family Preserve
Join Westchester Land Trust at Danner Family Preserve to rip, snap, slice, and chop away at vines that stress the native forests and shrublands.
Project:
Help identify native and invasive vegetation, fix common trail issues, gain new skills in habitat restoration, and connect with nature.
Accessibility:
Hiking distances will be less than a half-mile. Trail conditions are flat with moderate to thick un-mowed vegetation. No prior volunteer experience needed! Tools and light snacks will be provided.
