2025 Live Art Auction
Volunteers are invited to assist with Garrison Art Center's largest fundraising event, "Art Now in the Hudson Valley: A Celebration of Shared Space." Guests enjoy refreshments, a gallery preview, and participate in a live auction led by Nicholas Lowry of Swann Auction Galleries and Antiques Roadshow fame—all set to the backdrop of the banks of the Hudson River. All funds raised will directly support Garrison Art Center's mission to make art accessible and cultivate a vibrant cultural community.
Volunteers are needed to assist with the following roles:
- Set-Up (12:30-2:30 p.m.): assist with setting up for the event
- Auction Art Handlers (3:15-6:15 p.m.): carry and display artwork in front of the crowd during the live auction, ensuring each piece is presented professionally and elegantly
- Post-Auction Support (6:30-7:30 p.m.): help with event wrap-up and assist with clean-up
Volunteers will have the opportunity to gain event experience and insight into live art auctions, contribute to a prestigious cultural event and connect with art enthusiasts, and enjoy a behind-the-scenes perspective on the auction process. Express interest below!
