Stage Crew

MorDance is seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join its stage crew for performances at its studio/theater space. High school and college students are welcome to apply for school credit and valuable experience in the theater industry.

Schedule

• Sunday, April 28 from 9 a.m.-5 p.m.: load-in
• Monday, April 29 from 2-6 p.m.: dress rehearsals
• Tuesday, April 30 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.: student matinees
• Wednesday, May 1 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.: student matinees
• Thursday, May 2 from 7-10 p.m.: public performances
• Friday, May 3 from 7-10 p.m.: public performances
• Saturday, May 4 from 7-10 p.m.: public performances

Roles and responsibilities

• Assist with load-in and load-out of equipment and props
• Set up and strike sets, props, and lighting
• Provide support during dress rehearsals and performances
• Work collaboratively with production/lighting designer and stage manager/grip

Qualifications

• Enthusiasm for theater and live performances
• Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team
• Willingness to learn and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment
