2021-2022 Content Strategy and Social Media Interns (Virtual)
WJCS is one of the largest human service agencies in Westchester County. The WJCS Content Strategy & Social Media Intern will work directly with Miriam Arond, Director of Communications and Marketing; and Grace Oshin, Digital Communications Coordinator. This is an unpaid internship for academic credit and is perfect for college students.
Responsibilities will include:
- Conducting research for website articles, press releases, and email marketing
- Researching, writing, and finding visuals for social media posts
- Helping to maintain editorial calendar for digital media purposes
- Generating content strategies based on data analytics
Skills required:
- Excellent reserach skills
- Excellent writing skills
- Digitally astute; experience in using Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and other social media platforms
- Excellent spelling and attention to detail
- Excellent computer skills, including experience with Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
