Food Pantry Stocking Volunteers

Help stock and prepare Fred's Pantry on Friday mornings, the day before clients arrive to select their weekly supply of food. Tasks include unloading and storing large food deliveries (mostly from pallets received from Feeding Westchester), sorting and packaging produce, stocking shelves, and breaking down boxes for recycling.

Volunteers must be physically fit and be able to lift heavy items such as cases of frozen meats, cases of canned fruits and vegatables, and crates of produce.

Shifts occur on Fridays from 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Volunteers who can sign up for multiple shifts per month are preferred!
