Make a Celebration Box for Seniors or Veterans
We are so excited to celebrate our 70th anniversary at Volunteer New York!. It's been 70 years since we answered our very first phone call to connect a volunteer with a nonprofit organization. (Learn more about our anniversary here.) What better way to help the only nonprofit in Westchester that connects volunteers to opportunities celebrate its anniversary (birthday) than by volunteering?
How it works:
- Pick a group to support (children, veterans, or seniors)
- Wrap a cereal box in birthday/colorful wrapping paper
- Fill it with a few small items, activities, and a handmade birthday card
- Deliver to Volunteer New York!
Volunteer New York! will distribute them to our partner organizations that work with low-income children, veterans, and seniors. Express interest below to receive the directions and labels to include on the box.
