2018-2020 Volunteers to Sort Clothing for Children

The Sharing Shelf, a program of Family Services of Westchester, is looking for volunteers to help sort, package, and distribute clothing donations for low-income children in the Westchester community. The Sharing Shelf collects new and gently used clothing for children from birth to age 19. Donations are sorted by quality, size, season, and gender then distributed through nonprofits, schools, and hospitals in the community to children in need at no cost. Each child receives a week's worth of seasonally appropriate clothing matched to their sizing needs.

Volunteers must be at least 10 years old and those aged 10-14 must be accompanied by a parent who actively volunteers with them.
