Food Delivery Volunteers - Westchester County
Hillside Food Outreach home-delivers food to over 2,000 clients throughout Westchester and Putnam Counties in New York and Western Connecticut. It is looking for volunteers in Westchester County to help deliver to its growing wait list of clients who do not have access to local food pantries.
Volunteers of all ages are welcome to deliver groceries to hungry neighbors. This is a great project for families, individuals, and teams. Deliveries occur once a month depending on the volunteer's schedule, and volunteers are asked to commit to at least a year so clients can develop a bond with them and volunteers can learn their needs.
Volunteer delivery drivers MUST have a valid drivers license. Express interest below!
