The LW20 - A Celebration of 20 years of impact! Leadership Westchester Program Turns 20
YONKERS, NY, June 21, 2017 The evening began in the YoFiFest YoFi DMAC theater, in the heart of Yonker's up and coming art scene, where the 19 individuals who made up the 2017 Class of Leadership Westchester and partook in this 9-month-long intensive leadership program, graduated as the 20th class to have gone through Leadership Westchester.
Following the Class of 2017 graduation, across the street of 66 Main street at Zuppa Restaurant, alumni of Leadership Westchester, going back to the very first class, met and celebrated 20 years of this unique and impactful program.
At this "LW20" Leadership Westchester 20th Anniversary party, long time Volunteer New York! staff member and Leadership Westchester program administrator, Linda Bonci, received special recognition for supporting 19 out of the past 20 Leadership Westchester classes and graduations - and being a staple of the program!
Despite the rain, humidity, the summer solstice - being the longest day of the year, it was the perfect night and atmosphere to celebrate the largest party and celebration in the history of Leadership Westchester!
Special thanks go out to the Leadership Westchester Alumni Association and its members who helped make LW20 such a special event, with over $50,000 raised in total donations that will be put towards maintaining the future of Leadership Westchester onto LW30!
