The Garden Club of New Rochelle

The Garden Club of New Rochelle (GCNR) is the oldest garden club in New York; it was incorporated in 1911 and is a founding member of the Federated Garden Clubs of New York State. The mission of the Garden Club of New Rochelle is to advance practical knowledge of the culture and care of flowers, fruits, vegetables, plants, trees and the making of gardens; promoting skill in the art of arranging plant material all the while fostering measures for the conservation of material resources and to encourage civic beautification.
